This new commercial use model of the javaPRO-CRC is named the "javaPRO-CRC PID" and is not to be confused with our standard consumer-level javaPRO-CRC which retails for $900+ (a great roaster in itself).  

The new javaPRO-CRC PID has a PID thermocouple design temperature controller; the thermocouple itself inserts directly into the drum for direct immersion in the bean mix and is easily removed prior to filling and dumping contents of drum.  The PID allows you to electronically control temperature for precise roast profiles.

Drum is contructed of 100% Stainless Steel (with your preference of either 1/8" or 5/32" perforations).  The javaPRO-CRC PID is based upon the RONCO 6000 Pro rotisserie, professionally modified for coffee roasting.

For superior roast consistency the drum motor rotates drum at 60 RPM to replicate the high speed rotation of $20,000+ commercial roasters.

A ventilation fan system incorporated into roaster provides ability to evacuate roasting smoke to outside environment (check with local zoning and fire department for necessary permits, smoke ductwork needed, etc. prior to purchase if you have any questions regarding such.)

Roaster uses 2 conventional heating elements for a total of 2,850 watts at 110 VAC.  One conventional 3 prong outlet needed and circuit/wiring capable of handling such wattage & volts.

Prior to roasting, drum must be removed from roaster to fill with beans, and again must be removed from roaster to dump beans.  Oven mitts capable of high heat protection must be worn when handling hot drum.  Roaster is very hot when in use.

Proper ventilation in roasting area must be maintained at all times during roasting.  This roaster is designed for Adult Use Only.  Supervision of roasting must occur at all times during roasting.  (DO NOT EVER LEAVE ROASTER UNATTENDED WHILE ROASTING!  This goes for any roaster, not just this one.  Remember, safety first!)
